About me
My burden became my liberation.
As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse I have spent most of my life in survival mode, disconnected from my true self, unable to live a self-led authentic life. I have been an extreme people pleaser living with the core belief of not being good enough, not being worthy, not being lovable. I have been deep down in my own darkness, unsure of if I would ever see the light of day again. I have self medicated with work, sex, drugs and alcohol, resenting myself in every way possible. Most people who know me did not see it — as I simultaneously have been very high functioning, happy go lucky, always presenting my big smile and my big heart.
Growing up in a politically engaged family with parents who taught me about solidarity, social justice and equity, I have always wanted to make and be a change in the world — both for myself and for others. So here I am, trying to be and make that change. And maybe, just maybe, you would like to do it with me.
Work experience
I bring over 20 years of experience as a humanitarian aid worker and social worker, having worked across Norway and Sweden with refugees, social inclusion, mentoring, addiction, psychiatric health care, Housing First projects, domestic violence, honour-related violence, incest and sexual abuse. My background includes work with organizations within civil society, local government, and international humanitarian aid — across contexts ranging from front-line crisis support to program coordination and development.

Health and fitness
Having lived with PCOS, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PTSD, my health is my number one priority — and I plan my life around it accordingly. Without my health, I have nothing.
I pay attention to food, sleep, movement, and the people I choose to engage with. Taking good care of my mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health is how I am able to live a full life. So my question for you is: How is your health? Are you taking care of yourself? Do you live a full life? If not, I am here to help you — if you want me to.
I have personal experience from many different training modalities and have been a competitive masters athlete in Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting, holding medals from the European Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championship, the Norwegian Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championship, and the Swedish Masters Championship in Bench Press.
Some of my professional training within health and fitness includes:
Trauma-Informed Yoga Level 1 (TAY 70), TAY Sweden
Weightlifting Coach Level 1, Swedish Weightlifting Federation
Personal Trainer, Hedmark University College
CrossFit (Level 1, Strongman, Olympic Weightlifting, Mobility)
I plan to complete Trauma-Informed Yoga Level 2 and Level 3 in 2026.
